The Original Purple Tee. A Message That Matters.
Paws Off is our original South Loop purple anti-bullying tee. South Loop's Wednesday tradition invites students to wear purple as a visible stand against bullying. An earlier South Loop parent handbook specifically listed the Paws-Off purple shirt alongside solid purple shirts for Wednesday wear. Now Paws Off is back for a new generation of Lions—ready to wear the message and put it into action.
The school has also used its Stand Up, Speak Out activities to emphasize empathy, making new friends, and helping classmates feel welcome. That's the heart of Paws Off: the shirt makes a statement; how we treat people brings the statement to life.

Invite someone new into the conversation, game, or lunch table.
Respect.
Choose words and actions that make classmates feel they belong.
Speak up.
Support someone being mistreated and ask a trusted adult for help.

The original purple Paws Off tees are back in youth and adult sizes, with short- and long-sleeve styles. Choose the one that fits you and show what it means to be part of the South Loop community.

What can students wear on Wednesday?
The school's current posted Uniform Policy encourages a solid purple shirt and jeans for Anti-Bullying Day each Wednesday. Its 2019–20 parent handbook and a past Stand Up, Speak Out announcement also explicitly mention a Paws-Off / SLS bullying shirt. Those historical references describe previous school guidance; please follow the school's latest instructions for the current school year.
